Why is my player still at SUBMITTED?

Modified on Thu, 15 Feb at 10:41 AM

If a player is at the submitted stage, it will mean it is waiting for approval. In this stage, the FAW will process registration on a daily basis, Monday - Friday. In order for a player to be eligible for a fixture, they must be have SUBMITTED before 5pm on the day before the game.

Submitting at 5pm, does not guarantee instant approval, as there is often a high volume of registrations to process, especially in the summer months leading up to the season. We would recommend, submitting a few days before a game, as although we endeavor to turnaround registrations as quickly as possible, a same day response is not always feasible.

Often, if a player is transferring between clubs, a registration might be at submitted for a number of days whilst waiting for the old club to release.

In these scenarios, we would recommend the following.

ENTER a registration for a player.

WAIT 3 days before submitting.

SUBMIT a signed form.

This will ensure that the FAW can intervene to process the registration. If a registration is ENTERED and SUBMITTED on Day 1, we cannot process this until either 3 days have passed, or the previous club release.
