What qualifications do I need to coach junior football?

In order to become a Coach or Team Manager in junior football at the grassroots level, the following is required as a minimum:

• Football Leaders Award
• Enhanced DBS Check for Regulated Activity

These must be valid, and in date.

If you are looking to become a First Aider, you will require

• FAW Emergency First Aid Award
• Enhanced DBS Check for Regulated Activity

These must be valid, and in date.

We would also recommend completing the below, although this is not mandatory for either a Coach or First Aider role.
