What qualifications do I need to coach Adult football?

In order to become a Coach or Team Manager in Adult football at the grassroots level there are no requirements.

• All that is required is a 'Confirmed registration' on COMET

If you are looking to become a First Aider, you will require

• FAW Emergency First Aid Award

This must be valid, and in date.

We would also recommend completing the below, although this is not mandatory for either a Coach or First Aider role.

• FAW Safeguarding Award
• FAW Football Leaders Award
• Enhanced DBS Check for Regulated Activity
