There are two stages to a clearance request on TMS
1. The first is waiting for the other association to confirm a registration of the player. There is no time limit on how long this takes.
2. Once this has been confirmed, the FAW can then request the clearance. This then will take a maximum of 7 days.
If the other association does not respond in 7 days, the FAW will register the player accordingly
If the other association responds sooner, then it can be processed at this time.
If there are any issues with the details on the request, sometimes this can be cancelled, and the request started again.
