The following guide explains how to complete a registration for a player already on the COMET system. This is a new process that can be found on https://comet.faw.cymru/mycomet/
Registering a player that is already on the COMET System
1. Press MyCLUB
2. Press Players
3. Press 'New Registration'
4. Insert details and search
Here, you will require a combination of two data points. This is either:
COMET ID and Surname
Surname and DOB
If this is a new player or no registrations are found, you can instead press 'new registration' and it will take you to a new page where details can be added.
5. Select player and press 'next'
6. Complete the missing mandatory fields and 'save'
For mainstream football (EG: affiliated to an area association) the registration type will be transfer or re-registration.
If you are part of an recreational club (EG: Veterans Football, Disability Football, Sunday Football etc.) you will need to select the relevant type instead.
Discipline will be be Football or Futsal.
NEW STEPS - IMPORTANT
7. Select 'No' to transfer agreement and save
This is an important step. If you press yes, it will ask for future information about a transfer agreement. This is a process that is not used in Wales but is currently a feature on COMET due to FIFA Regulations.
8. Send or Generate Registration Form
Here you can either send the registration form, which will trigger an email sent directly to the individual.
Alternatively, you can generate the form which will download it to your device.
You can also generate registration form that will download to your device. You can then send directly to the individual.
9. Press 'next'
If you already have a valid signed form, here you can upload it and then press 'next'.
Otherwise, just press 'next'
10. Select either SUBMIT or SUBMIT Later
If you've already uploaded the registration form, you can now submit
If you have not uploaded it, you will need to press 'submit later'
