How to lock/unlock rosters

Modified on Wed, 12 Feb at 12:22 PM

Some leagues will have restrictions on rosters, and particularly movement of players between teams of the same club, as well as new players being added to roster. When these restrictions are in place, leagues will often want to lock the rosters so that changes cannot be made freely by clubs.

In order to add new players into a roster when they are locked, they will temporarily need to be unlocked. Once unlocked, the changes can be made, and then the roster locked again.

Locking and Unlocking Rosters

The term locking is a general term, whereas in reality, it is simply a case of using the competition settings. These in turn prevent changes from being made

Update the competition settings

You will need to update the 'Max Registered Players' to 0.

When you need to unlock the roster, you simply need to remove this 0 and leave it blank.
