This guide will show how to deduct points from a league table. This should be done through creating a new case/sanction, to ensure a clear audit trail. PLEASE NOTE: This will need to be done through the area association/FAW.
Creating a new case and deducting points
1. Click on Disciplinary then 'New Case'
2. Fill in each field
The below example is one related to a league game. In this case, you will need to select the relevant round and match, to ensure a full audit trail. If it is not related to a match, you can just include competition, and then select from the list of teams.
Once completed, press 'Save'
3. Add a new sanction
4. Fill in sanction details and 'save'
Sanction Type: Deduction of Points
Date From: Date you are adding the sanction
Value: Number of points being deducted
Suspension Scope: doesn't matter what is put here so leave as is
Note: include any further details of sanction/deduction here
5. Save and check table
Once saved, it should create a sanction that will show as 'closed'. On the league table, it should then deduct the points, which will be indicated by (-) next to their name.
