How to view a person in different roles

People can be registered in multiple roles on COMET, including as a player, coach and referee, to name a few.

When they are registered in these roles, they are all done under the same COMET ID (same profile), so they don't have a different profile for each role.

To switch between viewing these different roles, you first need to locate the profile page of the person.

Once on the page, beneath their name you will see the role you are currently viewing them as (player in this case)

If you click on the dropdown arrow next to this, you will see a list of all types of role someone can be registered to. Those that are written in bold are ones that the person holds a registration in (this person holds a referee registration too in this case).

You will now be viewing the person's referee registration.

This is also how you would register someone in a new role, using their existing COMET ID profile.

For example, if you were on a player registration but you wanted to register them as a coach, you would simply change the view to Coach, and then click New Registration as normal.
